CalSAC Training 

CalSAC offers free and low cost training through our statewide Trainer Network. Free training is made possible through the generous support from our partners with funding from the California Department of Education, Child Development Division.

 

The CalSAC Trainer Network includes:

  • 200 trainers across California who are also professionals working in the field
  • A continuously enhanced and robust training curriculum with over 60 training modules
  • An intensive endorsement process and support network to ensure quality

Request a CalSAC Training

Arranging a CalSAC Training is easy:  

  1. Set up an agency account
  2. Use the Online Training Request System (OTRS) to request a training

 

The Online Training Request System (OTRS) connects California's out-of-school time programs to CalSAC Trainers in their region who deliver CalSAC Training. OTRS allows users to:

  • View CalSAC Trainers to find the best fit for your needs
  • View training modules including summaries and learning objectives
  • Make a training request and manage your trainings

To become a CalSAC Trainer, you must apply and be selected to attend a Training of Trainers (ToT) Institute. Applications are currently closed. Join our listserv to receive updates on the next application cycle.
