Gain a Network and Stay Informed. When you become a CalSAC Chapter member, you’ll have the opportunity to network with experienced and emerging afterschool and school-age care professionals. It’s a great way to stay connected to latest changes and innovative ideas in afterschool and school-age care programming.

Get Free Registration to Events & Trainings. CalSAC Chapter members can receive free registration to events and trainings hosted by the chapter. Chapters host several events annually that range from training for line staff and administrators, advocacy actions in support of program funding, and social networking events.

Grow Your Career through Leadership. In addition to participating in events, CalSAC Chapter members can take a leadership role in the chapter. Leadership roles allow members the opportunity to strengthen skills in planning, event coordination, advocacy, budget management, volunteer management and much more.

Give Back to the Out-of-School Time Field. Each year, CalSAC events reach thousands of afterschool and school-age care professionals around the state. As an OST professional, you can help build and advance our field through service. Join a CalSAC Chapter and be a part of providing accessible and affordable professional development and leadership opportunities to your community.
